Ducktail Lures is home of one of the most unique and complete lines of American Made musky and pike lures in the world

Ducktail Lures are made in Merrill, Wisconsin, the gateway to "Wisconsin's Musky Country".  These lures have been designed for "musky fanatics" who want to get the most out of their time on the water!  We strive to make lures which are "unique", not just knock-offs of other lures on the market, with a focus on great heavy cover baits and surface lures as well. Over the years I have refined and improved my baits, seeking to make them better than the lures currently available.  I also began to make lures which provided features not currently available in other baits, primarily lures that are virtually weedless yet excellent hooking baits. We strive to use top end American Made components and hooks, and make lures which are strong and durable to hold that monster fish. We feel that "flash" is a key which turns followers into fish that hit--so we add holographic glitter finishes to our wood baits, and holographic tinsel to our bucktails and spinnerbaits. While I feel we have done this in our current line of lures, we will not rest.

We will continue to field test, and refine our current lures and develop new offerings.  All of our baits are thouroughly field tested, by musky guides and pros, and other seasoned anglers for 2 to 3 years before they are marketed.  If they don't make the cut we won't sell them.  The bulk of this testing is done on heavily pressured water, and in tournament conditions as well, so you know they will work on any water fished, from a remote Canadian Lake to the most heavily pressured urban waters.
